    Presentation title:
Development of bio-based and compostable Hot Melt Adhesive

This presentation introduces a breakthrough in adhesive technology, focusing on the development of a compostable and bio-based hot melt adhesive to address the growing demand for sustainable alternatives. Traditional adhesives pose environmental challenges due to their reliance on non-renewable resources and contribution to landfill waste. To solve these issues, our research focuses on leveraging renewable feedstocks and innovative compostable design.
Our adhesive, derived from bio-based feedstocks, reduces reliance on finite fossil fuels and mitigates carbon emissions. Its compostable formulation ensures end-of-life sustainability, as it decomposes into natural elements. This aligns with recent EU policies that are promoting the use of bio-based and biodegradable materials, particularly in absorbent hygienic products. While challenges exist, such as raw material limitations, compatibility, and shelf life, we are committed to developing and optimizing products that balance environmental sustainability with customer satisfaction.
